About me
For the last twenty-five years I have been working as a performer in music and theatre. In that time, I’ve created a musical, written and co-produced two albums, two EPs and an audiobook of my original poetry and prose. I’ve performed extensively on the London cabaret circuit and also written several solo shows incorporating my songs and spoken word.In my acting work I have mainly specialised in comic and character roles, often involving singing and have performed on the fringe and at mid-scale venues across the UK. I have taken part in a three week intensive course with Emma Rice’s company Wise Children, acting classes with Chris New at The Actors Centre, piano lessons with Scott Brooks and dance classes at Pineapple and Ballet for You. I have previously studied singing with Stuart Barr, Nathan Martin, Mary Hammond and Mary King. I have performed in choirs supporting Elbow, Ian Shaw, Bobby McFerrin, Our Lady J and Shlomo. I composed incidental music for five plays at South London Theatre and wrote arrangements and worked as band leader for three productions of Jessica Swale’s Nell Gwynn.

Additional information:
Recently appeared in 'REPLAY' at The Lion & Unicorn Theatre - ‘It's all [woven] together by Marcus Reeves' brilliant narrator, [paying] homage to the OG sci-fi narrator Rod Serling and elements of The Seventh Doctor. The second Reeves steps, or rather stumbles, onto the stage you're hooked. A truly enigmatic and engaging performance.’ (Stage Whispers)
