About me
Update: I am currently working on a short film entitled 'Tresspassers', and In January played the part of a caller in an Arts Council funded project by Wooden Walls Productions, called 'Common Truths Radio', broadcast on Black Country radio.I enjoy comic and straight acting roles. Recent theatre roles have included: Vi in 'Memory of Water', Mrs Terence in 'Night Must Fall', Viv Nicolson in 'Spend, Spend, Spend', Susannah in 'Bedroom Farce' and Madam Fosco in 'Woman in White'. I have appeared in a short film on dementia, called 'Speak to Me, Jack' and another short, filmed remotely during lockdown, called, "Closed Until Further Notice.' I also took part in a live Zoom performance of Betrayal by Harold Pinter, as part of a Live Lounge event by Pop Up Theatre, playing the part of Emma.
I have worked professionally for a murder mystery company for the past seven years. The format of these is totally improvised, around a skeleton plot, so improvisation is something in which I am very skilled. I also direct these events, producing the materials for the evening and directing the evening event, with up to 100 guests. This involves staying in character for up to four hours and playing a huge number of different characters. I have also taken part in a number of corporate events, including a training video for Sainsburys.
I have completed an Advanced Acting course with Bazan Talent Agency and a course to improve my screen skills, called 'Script to Screen' with Thinking Actors.
Additional skills:
I have been a member of various choirs.
I have a full driving licence.
Additional information:
I have directed students to perform in Shakespeare Schools Festival.
I have worked as a Supporting Artist for Celex and appeared in 'Doctors' and 'Shakespeare & Hathaway'.
