Highlights
-
I have appeared on stage and also in film and television productions. (See www.jennday.co.uk or www.spotlight.com/4132-3421-6764 for full list of credits/qualifications). I have previously been employed as the Head of Drama at a local Performing Arts College in Nottinghamshire. I am qualified to degree level with a BA(Hons) degree in Contemporary Theatre Practice from the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama (now Royal Conservatoire of Scotland) and a PGCE (Drama) at the Manchester Metropolitan University.
Having taken a break from work (both acting and teaching) to have my children I have been busy getting back into acting since 2014. I have been complimented on my ability to deliver emotional performances, when required, and my recent auditions have been positively received - leading to some exciting castings. I have also recently assisted a local film production company with casting/auditions and rehearsal workshops for an anti-knife crime film (short) shot in Nottingham.
I am currently having an up-to-date showreel edited of some of my most recent roles which should be ready shortly. In the meantime I have a provisional showreel ready for viewing on my profile or at www.jennday.co.uk. Additionally, there are also links to a number of my audition tapes.
As well as my current and recent filming roles, I also regularly attend the Actors Workshop in Nottingham to maintain and enhance my performance skills.
