About me

I like to believe in a little bit of magic, and what could be more magical than immersing yourself in the role of somebody else? I am interested in how people work, how each soul is so individual and breaking down the stereotypes we can often trap ourselves in. With my love for history, I love playing people from the past and seeing how these characters have evolved through time and societies perceptions of them. I also love being involved in the process of new writing and bringing something different to an audience.

I am currently pregnant, so if you are looking for a believable bump - come to me!

Marie has a keen interest in creative writing, Tudor history, playing the guitar, pole fitness, ballet, reading and watching period dramas.

When not performing, Marie teaches musical theatre from the age of 3 to 18.

Marie has recently graduated from Aelfa Academy of Dramatic Arts.

Her other qualifications include a diploma in Musical Theatre from Royal Central School of Speech and Drama (2013), LAMDA Grade 8 in Musical Theatre (Distinction) (2012)and a PCertLAM(2013).

Marie has performed with the singing group, Soul Train at venues including the O2, Mick Jagger Studio and the Shaftesbury Theatre. They were delighted to appear on season 1 of Pitch Battle on BBC with Chaka Khan.
