He also performs as John Keats for Keats’ House, Hampstead, as a reader for Live Canon Poetry Ensemble, and plays the clarinet. As a physical theatre specialist, Matthew has performed in The Magic Flute (Simon McBurney, Complicité), The Winter’s Tale (Rory Kinnear, ENO), and as choreographer/movement-double for Timothy Spall in feature film Stanley, A Man Of Variety (Stephen Cookson). As puppeteer, his work includes Father Christmas with Lyric Hammersmith/Pins & Needles, several tours with Slot Machine Theatre, and R&D with Blind Summit.
Matthew has also worked as Movement Director on numerous shows, including the 2020 Off-West-End Award Nominated productions of Partenope (Hampstead Garden Opera, Jacksons’ Lane), Moby Dick (Brockley Jack), and My Other Self (Cockpit Theatre).
