About me
I have recently graduated with a First-Class Honours degree with a Bachelor of Arts in Acting from University of Wales Trinity St David’s Carmarthen. As I am a fluent Welsh speaker.I have recently returned from a UK tour with 'Firehorse Productions' and (PIE) ‘Performance in Education’. I was performing a Theatre in Education play with the subject matter being ‘options within higher education’ and 'Anti Bullying play'. This project gave me an opportunity to gain valuable skills working with secondary school and primary school pupils.
August this year I performed at ‘The Edinburgh Fringe Festival’ where I worked as an actor with a local Welsh Theatre Company. I then went on to work with another Welsh Theatre Company called ‘Flossy and Boo’ who are based in Cardiff. This project was an Art insulation where we worked closely with young children and families. It was performed at ‘The Green Man Festival’. Through this experience I learnt that I have a very strong work ethic, I am a multi-tasker and detailed oriented. I have just finished working with Dyfed Powys Police and the NHS where I was involved in a role play training programme for the police officers regarding their investigation into witness reports and with trainee doctors.
Last summer I had the opportunity to work with a theatre company called ‘OMIDAZE’ for two weeks, which is run by the well know Artistic Director & Executive Producer Yvonne Murphy. This was an invaluable experience for me as I developed my teaching skills, learnt to cope with different situations with young people and how to provide a learning pathways through a game and giving it a purpose. I had excellent feedback from the students and Yvonne.
