Roy developed his own character with many bands, but wanted to try and re-create the sound of the 60’s as a solo act to enable him to travel and work abroad, so he turned to the keyboards and some modern technology to help him along.
Over the last 12 years Roy has worked on Radio as a presenter of his own shows and continued to bring his own unique sound of the 50’s 60’s 70’s and the 80’s to the stage with one of the most energetic shows from a solo performer. He embraces the audience and tailors his shows to them.
Currently Roy is working on Impact Radio, a national radio station based in Blackpool presenting his own afternoon show and performing at many of Blackpools hotels with his own unique brand of comedy and a tribute to the golden age of music.
Roy is not a tribute act but more of a tribute to the performers and music of what he considers the best four decades of music in his lifetime. His enthusiasm and love of the music never fails to impress even the hardest of audiences.
Roy has a full lighting rig with effects if required, carries public liability up to £10,000,000 and all equipment is P.A.T. tested and certified. Fully self contained WITHOUT backing tracks. All performances are played LIVE. -
