About me
Graduated in June 2017 with BA (Hons) (1st) in Costume For Performance at London College of Fashion. Now excited to be working freelance on a variety of projects in order to gain experience in all aspects of industry. Currently living in London with freedom to travel and available for freelance work or longer-term projects, particularly within TV and film.Productions to date include Tesco’s Christmas 2017 TV commercial, Mary Queen of Scots feature film, Coronation Street commercial special for ITV, Matthew Bourne’s Cinderella, LAMDA Gala stage show, LAMDA short films, plus music videos and other TV commercials. I
have also taken internships at The Metropolitan Opera, New York, Royal College of Music, London and with celebrity stylist / dressmaker Kate Halfpenny, London.
I love being part of a production team and adore the whole process from designing and making, through to dressing performers and working on set. I am a perfectionist and take great pride in my own work as well as enjoying the team effort.
Theatre professional:
I am in my final year at London College Of Fashion studying Costume for Performance. I adore my course and all aspects of the work, am very ambitious about a career in Costume. I already have a good grounding in historical costume, particularly 18th Century and Victorian, and am keen to explore contemporary and fantasy costume, which I have done in my latest project, inspired by Sarah Kane's 4.48 Psychosis. I have very strong visual ideas and my main passion lies in the technical aspects of creating and making the pieces I have designed. I have great attention to detail and like to push myself beyond my experience in mastering new techniques. I am very driven and enjoy working collaboratively as well as independently. I already have some industry experience having worked as an intern for stylist / designer Kate Halfpenny and at the Metropolitan Opera House in New York, as well as other small projects where I have worked as an assistant.
