About me
I am currently a graduate of the broadcast television and film production program at Fanshawe College. Attending this program has afforded me ample opportunity to acquire and expand upon my skills relating to the media production industry, which include but are not limited to video production, project management, teamwork and collaboration, and experience with a variety of post and pre-production software. My passions lie within the creative production of narrative films. As well as thriving behind the camera, I thoroughly enjoy writing screenplays and brainstorming story ideas. I am also deeply passionate in journalism and documentary films. This affection for storytelling is helpful for me in many areas of video production, as it allows me to think up interesting premises for non-narrative productions as well, such as documentaries or commercials.
As well as a strong dedication for the conceptual side of production, I have always had an intense drive while working on a set, be it a film set or one for live production. When I am working, I become consumed in completing the tasks that must be done in order to achieve success. Working alongside a team and watching a production come together fills me with a great sense of accomplishment and pride. Due to this devotion, I consider myself to be a very strong asset to a production team, and a great fit for leadership roles. I am always happy to lend a helping hand as I understand that teamwork is of utmost importance on set.
My long-term goal is to one day be a director of my own film projects. However, I know I have a long road ahead which is why I never shy away from new opportunities to grow and learn within the industry. I am very adaptable and eager to learn and use as many skills as I can.
