About me
'Shortly after graduating from the MA in Scriptwriting at Bath Spa in February 2018, my graduation film 'Scavenger' was picked up by Shorts TV for distribution across South Asia. The film, shot on a modest budget, has since enjoyed a healthy festival run across several festivals in America and the Marmaris film festival in Turkey. Another film shot during the course, 'Turned To The Sun', was picked up to play at the BFI backed 'The Short Film Festival' in Leicester in the best of British programme. Shortly after, 'Turned To The Sun' was viewed by the BFI Network and I subsequently submitted a proposal for early development funding for a feature film called 'Headwater'. After interviewing for the funding in the Film London offices, 'Headwater' was selected as one of only four projects to receive funding and support from the BFI. Both ‘Scavenger’ and ‘Turned To The Sun’ continue to perform well at festivals in 2019, with ‘Turned To The Sun’ scheduled to play at the Museum of Moving Image in New York in March. In addition to my work on film I taught myself to write for VR in June 2018 and my debut short script for VR, ‘Time Again’ was one of only a handful of semifinalists in the inaugural XR Alliance Competition in LA, being read by representatives of both Warner Bros and Universal Studios.
I have recently finished writing a feature film biopic.
