About me
Synergy is the act of coming together and working towards the same goal. It requires a willingness to listen, to empathize, and to seek common ground. Art is meant to inspire synergy. It proclaims who we are, it tells our story, and it projects our hopes and dreams.I work with fellow theater artisans to tell the stories of humanity, with the goal to birth empathy between people. We need to see ourselves in each other. Theater must make the viewer escape for a few fleeting moments into the soul of another person and through that experience be changed- changed to the point of action- to move into synergy with their neighbor, manifesting a world free of hate and condemnation.
Being both gay and black, I know what it’s like to be the “other” and I seek not to remove “otherness” but to celebrate it and synergize the world!
