About me
This opportunity to connect is so valuable to me, and I want to return that value by giving you the opportunity to confidently end your search for a sound designer in the time it takes to read this letter.I have a strong foundation in sound design and editing technique. I graduated with high honors from the Los Angeles Sound Academy and went on to train with highly respected members of the industry, including Rick Kline and Frank Gaeta. I have applied and refined this intelligence in over sixty films, documentaries and television shows. Work on diverse projects, from the "Decendents" to "L-Train," a Sundance-nominated short told through sound, I also developed and ability to provide superior clients services, as I had to quickly identify and accomplish clients' varying objectives.
Beyond all this, I make a point to go the extra mile where I see it will help my clients save money or enhance their ability to tell stories. For example, I built and organized high quality sound, ambience and hard effect libraries that have received offers from publishers. My clients benefit from the unique sounds that I have taken great joy in recording in places far, near and queer. I also learned how to restore dialogue after observing how flawed original audio can force my film clients to conduct expensive ADR. I have notably passed this value on in my work for "You Are Here" and "Sightings." I also learned enough about noise reduction software to be able to deliver great results without degrading audio quality.
