About me
Paul Rivet is an award-winning filmmaker from the great state of Colorado. After spending several years teaching math and theatre in his hometown of Castle Rock, Paul moved to Los Angeles and began working as an actor in Bones, Westworld, and Clint Eastwood’s Sully. He directed Ótumókpó with Nigerian filmmakers while studying at Relativity Media which screened at the African International Film Festival in 2015.While a graduate student at Chapman University, he was mentored by Academy Award-winner David Ward (The Sting, Major League). Under the mentorship of BAFTA-winner Michael Apted (Rome, The Up Series), Paul directed Snowball, which played film festivals around the world and was a semifinalist for the Student Academy Awards in 2018. Snowball was nominated for Best Comedy at the 40th College Television Awards in 2020. He holds a BA in Theatre Education from the University of Northern Colorado and an MFA in Film Production from Chapman University.
He continues to teach, perform, and tell stories that inspire.
