About me
I am what you call a risk taker. During my childhood through college years I dreamed of being a successful basketball player. During freshman year in college I was injured and had to have serious knee surgery. About 9 months afterward I played again. I was always determined and a hard worker. I enjoyed basketball it was what I loved at the time. When I was injured I thought about other things such as writing my story. So I changed my major to Video Arts and began to write, direct and edit my school projects. I never thought I would fall as hard as I did. I began a stage manager for school plays and even travel to Winston-Salem at the Black theatre festival. I participated as a costume designer and stage manager. I worked on different productions with local Nyc directors around the city. It was fun but I wanted to know what it would be like being in front of the camera being a talent. That’s where I began working on my acting skills. I started acting for my college plays and off off Broadway shows. After college I received my Bachelors. Acting was my true love now but but wasn’t getting paid at the time so I worked at Madison Square Garden as Guest Service Rep. I met many amazing people including tons of celebrities. My job was pretty cool. In 2010 I decided to take a risk and move to Atlanta where I knew little to nobody there. At the time Mo Nique Show was being taped in Atlanta so I put my resume in and moved. I saved money and rent my first apartment. I got a callback stating next season I will be a production Assistant at the studio. I was happy but after last season the show never called me. I need to find a job because my bills were piled up. I took a break from acting and production. I didn’t get the position at studio like planned because it was canceled. I worked at Kennestone hospital as nutritionist for 3 years. I thought about production and acting a lot. I took a leap at faith and audition for a play in Marietta GA. It was amazing how I bumped right back to acting then a month later I worked a stage manger for 2 different project.I lived in L.A but with in a year moved back to Ny to take care of my grandma til she passed. Now I’m ready for anything. I’m a dedicated worker. I can get up early I don’t mind staying late help out. My goal is to be successful in all parts of productions. I want to learn because it may be a time where we may be short handed on staff and I can be there to pick up he lack. I’m risk taker in a good way. If you take chances in life how can you learn? Experience is such a good teacher. I’m a team player from the courts, to the studios and stages I’m a great person to work with.Referees:
