About me
I have had a successful taste of media at this stage in my life, through an accomplished video that has obtained me a subsidiary diploma Grade: Distinction * (equivalent to 3 A-levels). The video I was tasked with making was a music video, through my pre-production planning I personally gained inspiration from the arctic monkeys styled videos while researching music production, this helped me visualize the type of look I wanted in my video, I furthered myself by choosing a R&B, rap song that was the complete opposite to the genre of the inspired video. This helped me get creative and make the video indifferent and unique to not only me but to an audiences POV, when I finally envisioned what I wanted to do I applied myself, I knew what I wanted it to look like sound like and feel like. I scoped out each setting and scene that was going to happen and each shot, I chose a team I felt would appreciate my process and understand what I wanted the video to be as well as apply their talents and skills to get the job done. I gave myself the responsibility of being the lead actor within the video which helped me interact more and help coordinate the other actors on set, as well as being the producer and editor for the project. I spent countless hours in post-production perfecting and making my final video I became very familiar with adobe products such as after affects and premier pro, premier pro is the main system I used to edit my music video including the effects and transitions, sound editing. My video shocked my entire media unit/class and teacher as being a very incredible piece of video editing its being used for open days at my school to introduce new students to the media course as a whole, my media teacher believes I am the most talented media student he’s ever had through the sixth form. This has given me great ambition and I have taken great pride in my work and have continued working hard by creating short films outside of education with a small crew and continue to enjoy team working and dedicating myself to my work. I am now looking for an opportunity to learn the skills to develop what I’ve been able to achieve so far.Skills
