About me
You never truly understand how much work goes into a film until you work on one. I started making my first films when I was 15, using a cheap shotgun mic attached to a lacrosse stick, with my best friend. We used to take 15 minutes to come up with an idea and then hours and hours filming. We hadn't yet learned the importance of pre-production and how actually extensive the work is that goes into even making a film possible. As I got older and worked with larger groups of people I realized how crucial pre-production is and how it's not as simple as it seems to put an idea on the ground, and then lift it up in the air. This summer I took a directing and producing intensive class at USC where I spent 6 weeks hands on collaborating with peers to create three films. I wrote and directed 2 of them and was able to work as the AD on the third that we shot at Warner Bros in Burbank, California. It was incredible experience and I gained a ton of perspective on professionalism, collaboration and meticulous work. I studied at Fordham University LC for the last two years and worked as an intern PA, also doing production work for the 3 different 72 hour film festivals. I made call sheets, and shooting schedules, and worked as an assistant producer on 2 of the 3 films we did for the fests. Now, I attend Emerson College where I continue to study film. This past year I've worked on 9 different productions, working in sound, executive producing, editing, and Assistant camera. I also have experience working with 16mm film, the bolex and the ArriSR16.
I'm skilled in final cut pro x as well as efficient in both adobe premier and avid.
