About me
Josh King is a playwright, screenwriter, fiction writer and illustrator. He studied a BA in English Literature & Creative Writing at Royal Holloway University, before gaining a MFA in Creative Writing in New York. Josh is the resident screenwriter for The Lab Workshops and writer for interactive theatre company, Say It Again, Sorry?. He has also written for Newsrevue, the world's longest-running comedy night.Playwriting credits: Rabbits in the Precambrian (Front Room, Matchstick Piehouse), The Importance of Being... Earnest? (The Pleasance, Nozstock Festival), The Gravediggers (The Old Red Lion), The Pen Lid Maximiser (The Old Red Lion), A Midsummer Night's Murder (The Water Rats), The Body (Windsor Firestation) and A Writer’s Lot (Edinburgh Fringe Festival).
Screenwriting credits include: The Island Adventures of Popeye, In The Night Garden, Sylvanian Families and The Teletubbies; various short scenes for The Lab Workshops; a series of sci-fi shorts for Mann Bros Media.
