About me
I began my career in fashion, gaining a degree in Fashion Design from the University of Leeds. During my studies, I spent a year interning for the renowned designer, Jenny Packham. I was offered a job at Jenny Packham as a garment technician, working on dresses for women such as the Duchess of Cambridge, Adele and Oprah Winfrey. Here, I learned expert and couture design and sewing techniques.Having realised my true passion lay in film, and costume for screen, I went on to study a Masters degree at the London College of Fashion in Costume Design for Performance. During my time here I produced a must video and directed the short film, De Winter. After graduating, I worked as a costume trainee on the newest Paul Thomas Anderson feature film and this gave me great insight into a big budget production. Since then I have been working as a freelance costume designer for stage productions and short films.
