About me
I’m a NY/NJ native with twenty years of experience in the animation industry, a great deal of it at Nickelodeon as lead designer on shows such as "Blue's Clues" and "Team UmiZoomi." More recently, I’ve been a director and art director with Magnetic Dreams Animation Studio ever since we moved to Nashville in 2011.I’ve been fortunate to land at Magnetic Dreams, an animation service house attracting a wide array of clients and agencies from Coca~Cola to Sesame Street, from music videos for country stars to product demos for Bridgestone tires. The position has made me evolve as a director not only in creating across multiple production pipelines (3D, 2D, motion graphics) but also in conceiving of a broad scope of visual development for clients’ stories and brands, such as “Elmo the Musical” for which I won a daytime Emmy.
From the flash of inspiration to the fidelity and communication of details, I am a commercial artist and leader that channels creativity through a command of language, adherence to process, and true joy of teamwork to bring out the best in the artists I work with.
