An Ukrainian immigrant bonds with an old lady with Dementia
Alisa, An Ukranian immigrant providing round the clock care to Grace, an old lady with dementia, estranged from her family. When Grace confuses Alisa with Irina, her former secret lover, the pair start to bond, convincing Alisa to leave her under-paid job and explore the world, she hesitates to leave Grace but, in a moment of clarity, the old lady gives her her blessing. Grace dies peacefully in her sleep and her family receive a letter from Alisa during the wake.
