New Year's Eve is an upcoming romantic comedy film directed by Garry Marshall.[1] It was originally intended as the sequel to the 2010 film, Valentine's Day, but on December 8, 2010 it was revealed that the film would not be a sequel to Valentine's Day and that Jessica Biel and Ashton Kutcher would play different characters.[2] The film is scheduled for release on December 9, 2011 in North America by Warner Bros. Pictures and New Line Cinema. The film stars Ashton Kutcher, Robert De Niro, Katherine Heigl, Lea Michele, Abigail Breslin, Hilary Swank, Michelle Pfeiffer, Zac Efron, Sofia Vergara, Jessica Biel, Halle Berry, Sarah Jessica Parker, Sienna Miller, Alyssa Milano, Ryan Seacrest, Jon Bon Jovi, Ice Cube, Josh Duhamel and Greg Kinnear.
