SAM is the story of a non-binary individual attempting to find means of authentic self expression in a world with such strict gender coding
Sam is played by two actors, one female and one male, SAM explores ways in which we all perform gender. Sam experiences anxiety, they shift from the 'real world' to their head space, visualised as a theatre. Here, Sam is able to work through their anxiety and find solutions to performing their gender, while in conflict with the promoter a character who only exist in his head, who is trying to convince Sam to conform to society's limitations.
