The New Road is a film by Sinai Noor which has been made for his MA dissertation film in refugee matters and British Film Institute (BFI) archive material. The film glimpses the life of an Iranian art student who fled to the UK in 2018 and a Hungarian Jew who fled to the UK in the 1950's - both representing the common refugee experience in modern times. Though largely a Middle Eastern phenomenon now, the story parallels visual and situational similarities between these two characters.
