Having read these posts, I thought you might be interested to see my text conversation with BDiscovered:

We are Currently casting for key featured roles for 'iBOY with Bill Milner', the TV Production 'The Incredible Hulk' the commercial for 'Ted Baker' and also stage production 'Dirty Dancing' and cruise production of 'Grease'
What is your email address please? Are you available for a telephone call tomorrow between 11:30am and 7pm to discuss possibly meeting and working together? Kind regards, Gabrielle on behalf of http://www.bdiscovered.net
ME: Hello Gabrielle,
I've just noticed your text, my phone was on silent!
I'd be very happy to have a phone discussion with you on 03/02/2016 and would prefer earlier in the day, as I have to leave for a casting about 3.30pm.
My email address is 'neilsummerville@msn.com'
Look forward to hearing from you,
Best wishes,
Neil.
ME: Hi Gabrielle,
I responded to your original text without making background checks on your agency.
I have now done that and let's just say I am not happy with the results and leave it at that.
Please take my email address and phone number off your records and do not attempt to contact me.
Thank you,
Neil Summerville
BD: Can I ask why you're no longer interested please?
ME: I did a background check on your agency and all the reports I found from a variety of sources were advising not to sign. All the agency was interested in was getting a lot of money out of their clients. Also, being contacted by a generic blanket text, which is worded in such a way to sound personal to you, alone, is dodgy to say the least.
Now, for the second time of asking,
DO NOT CONTACT ME AGAIN
or I will take steps to publicise that you are, at least, disreputable if not a scam outfit.
BD: Firstly many reviews are by competitive agencies like all successful business we have competition and the general public and people in general may post what they want about people and companies, consequently they do - other agents are trying to bad mouth us due to our status and the genuine work we have which is top featured work please see http://www.havealook.net/thisweek and photographers also complain about us because we speak out about their behaviour with women, however they all do this as we have the work and we do mean a share of people are envious. Despite your misunderstanding we have taken time to answer we are genuine and are a very large casting house make of it what you may! It is up to you however you will miss out on some amazing castings and could have just joined us as we are non exclusive. Just to make the point many of our clients are happy please read http://www.havealook.net/testimonials again make of this what you want!
Good luck
ME: I read reviews from actors on Casting Call Pro.
As well as a general search.
This conversation is ended.
BD: Best of luck with your career and future!
(Their last text makes me feel as though I've been wished a long and healthy life...by Don Corleone!)
