Union actors must be represented by sag franchised agency. Is that true?
Ok here’s interesting question: sag actor cannot be represented by non sag franchised agency? Happened to me few days back. I just signed few months ago with agency and I got a call from sag rep: they said Tom, your new agency is not sag franchised and you are breaking union rule, which is sag actors must be repped by sag franchised agency. I never knew of this thing existed. Fellow sag actors have you heard of this rule? Do you only repped by sag franchised agents?
