Voice Over Commercial

Voice Over: English

Hey everyone!
I've recently made a new Voice Over Commercial, or rather the first draft of it. I know what I like about it, and what I want to change, but I would also appreciate your own feedback on the matter! That includes the voice over itself, and the video.

Thanks everyone!

That's a pretty good reel. From a purely sound point of view, to me, it ticks all the boxes. The music levels are good, it doesn't sound like the voice is overly processed, it's the right length. Feel free to DM me if you would like my personal feedback (keeping in mind I'm another VO and not a client). On the whole, that is an awesome round one. with some minor tweeks you've got a winner.

Hi Mark,
I watched your video. Good job! My tip would be that, on top of a naturally great tone, you could bring more tonal variety - something I've been working on myself, so it's in my mind - if you more often bring a smile to infuse your voice. Particularly towards the end of your video, if you ever do another version.

The idea being that you start with the problems, which naturally lend themselves to a more gritty, urgent, unsmiling tone, then at the end when you present the solution - your hypnotherapy - I think we need to hear more smile/sunniness break through in your voice. The viewer will pick up the change and be more likely to follow up.

A classic way to bring that change of tone is to do something like imagine you're chatting to your best friend and have some great news to tell him/her.

Also, if you ever do a remake, I hope you don't mind me pointing out that when you refer to a single thing it's a phenomenon, so not "it's a natural phenomena".
