Bite The Mango Weekend
Next weekend the National Media Museum in Bradford (formerly the Film and Photography museum) is hosting an Industry weekend with seminars and networking opportunities for actors and film production companies. This takes place on Friday 9th March with the premiere of 'Amazing Grace', a locally shot feature film and continues throughout the weekend withn a networking night on the Saturday (10th) and seminars throughout Saturday and Sunday.

I will be attending with members of the Branch on the Saturday night with a display stand from Equity to cover enquiries about membership and the Union.
I am also chairing the seminar on 'Nuts and Bolts of Film making' on the Sunday morning at 10.30 am.
On the panel will be Liz Rymer and Raza Malal.

After attending the weekend mentioned above I'm pleased to let you all know that not only was it an excellent event with many diverse seminars and screenings but also a terrific chance to meet the 'movers and shakers' in the Industry of Film and Television.
There is so much going on it is often hard to keep a firm finger on the pulse. However these sort of events taking place all over the country will be your best opportunity to achieve enough knowledge of casting strategies and directos' requirements to put you one step ahead of competing actors!
