New President
Equity has a new President!
Graham Hamilton (a Founder member of our Yorkshire Ridings formerly known as Leeds and District Branch) has become the second person to be elected to the top role in Equity. The second one, I should say, following Freddie Pyne.
Both were founder members as was Jean Rogers who is a Vice President!
The results of the election of councillors is due out tomorrow. Good luck. But if you have not got your letter by the morning you didn't make it!
Since I live in the sticks with a postal service like the Pony Express (after Geronimo) I won't get to know before it is posted on the Equity website...
Good luck to all newly appointed councillors. It's going to be a new set with seven newbies elected.
