The theatre education intern reports to the director of education and works closely with members of the education team, teaching artists and schoolteachers and administrators. Duties include event coordination, program evaluation support and providing communications to school directors, teaching artists and students. This position is a paid internship averaging 15 hours a week. The Internship lasts through mid-June and culminates in participating in the production of Spotlight Showcase, our keystone event involving hundreds of high school students from all over the state of Minnesota.Principle duties and responsibilities Coordinate logistics for various classes and events. This includes, but is not limited to, scheduling the event, scheduling artists and facilitators, renting space, providing promotional content to PR and preparing the event spaceTrack essential education program details for the Trust and grant reporting. Tracked items include, but are not limited to, number of students participating, the diversity of our students, and program evaluationsProcess invoices and expenses as assigned. Process director’s expenses reimbursementsManage the Spotlight Education inbox by distributing emails to the right people on the teamProvide event coordination and administrative support for Spotlight ShowcaseProvide general administrative support to the Education departmentAssist in other tasks as assigned
