This position serves both as a technical director and production assistant duties including being a field photographer. Successful candidates can embrace and operate in a newsroom environment that blends news content gathering and production operation. Candidates must be self-starters, work well under daily deadlines and work independently as well as with others to enhance our multi-platform coverage.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:• Directing live newscasts.• Shooting video in the field and editing for all platforms.• Regular care and maintenance of equipment.• Operate studio cameras, audio console, and contribute to digital platforms.• Monitor and operate OTT Digital Suite.• Training of new personnel as assigned.• Monitor on-air signals for KFDA/KZBZ/KEYU, ingest daily programming and commercials, and operate Master Control.
