ResponsibilitiesThe role of the Public Relations Assistant is to provide administrative support to the Communications team. Essential Responsibilities:Continuous search of online databases, newspapers, magazines and social media for all press clippings related to News and its competition each dayHandle daily coverage reports, which get distributed internallyAdministrative duties, including answering the phonesCoordinate department affairsAssist department on research projects, and other assigned projectsManage department inbox and voicemail service, forwarding press requests to the appropriate contactAssist with media announcements and major events, as well as breaking news.
