Our News Station is looking for an aggressive and innovative National Digital Content Producer.The National Digital Content Producer will be based in Denver, and organizes, writes scripts and updates content on digital platforms with a primary focus on local websites, mobile apps, and social media platforms. The successful candidate must have demonstrated experience at being able to gather large amounts of data and content from multiple sources and platforms to create a cohesive story in a timely manner.The National Digital Content Producer is responsible for creating compelling content that is aligned with and enhances stories for publication on websites affiliated with E.W. Scripps Company.WHAT YOU'LL DO:Post stories for publication on websites affiliated with E.W. Scripps Company.Understand AP style, as well as other best practices for online news publication, including writing compelling headlines and SEO best practices. Manage social media accounts, while ensuring best practices for social media publication are executed and writing optimal captions.Write and distribute national breaking news stories to affiliate websites. Manage live streams on websites and social media, including Facebook and Twitter.Pitch story ideas daily during editorial calls with digital team.Identify trending content to write and source.Edit web content submitted by national correspondents.Create video on Final Cut Pro and images on Photoshop or additional web-based tools.Knowledge of web metric tools, including Google Analytics and CrowdTangle.
