The Video Production Internship at the Monterey Bay Aquarium provides students an opportunity to gain experience in all phases of the video production process. The intern will work collaboratively with the Aquarium's Film & Video team on video productions for aquarium exhibitions and social media.The student will receive hands-on experience with RED, Sony, and Canon digital cinema cameras. They will support underwater and drone video operations and set up lighting equipment. This position will also support our postproduction team - editing 4K video using Avid Media Composer, logging, transcribing, color correcting, and encoding footage as needed.
