The Rigging & Fly Operator in collaboration with and under the general direction of the Director of Production Services, is responsible for the operation, maintenance, and installation of stage rigging, chain hoist, counter weight system, and other lifting devises commonly used within large and medium sized theatres for all types of events; supervising and operating all performances of productions; attending tech/dress rehearsals and specified production meetings. Advancing and working with all traveling technicians/operators. This position is covered under the IATSE Local 321 CBA. Union membership is encouraged.
