We are looking for a Composer to help us add music to our motivational cinematic shorts. The perfect candidate will plan, conceptualize, and create original music for our content, to help add emotion. They will collaborate closely with our production team on the tonality, scale, style, and feel of our content. This individual has both technical and musical expertise and can adhere to our brand guidelines. In addition, they will possess the ability to complete projects in a short timeframe with exceptional communication.HOW YOU’LL SPEND YOUR TIME:Creating and arranging original scores for content posted on YouTube, Facebook, IGTV Certifying the scores created suit the projects and convey the appropriate mood and toneCollaborating closely with the production team in completing all projects, syncing music, making final adjustments, and meeting deadlinesWHAT YOU HAVE:2+ years of music production experienceBackground in scoring preferably for drama films, increasing the viewer's sense of suspenseExtensive experience with sound equipment and a strong portfolio that demonstrates musical versatilityExceptional organization and communication skillsA strong desire to work with a collaborative and mission-based teamWHO OVERSEES YOU:The Composer reports directly to the Sr. Production Manager WHO YOU OVERSEE:Currently, the Composer has no personnel reporting directly to him or herWHERE IT ALL GOES DOWN:This is a remote role that can be worked at from a home office spaceWHEN THE MAGIC HAPPENS:This is a 1099 Consultant role that will be around 20 hours a week with the potential to evolve into a full time position if all goes wellWHY YOU SHOULD JOIN US:We've kept our hiring bar really high - you will work with the best!WHEN WE’LL TALK ABOUT HOW AWESOME YOU ARE:No formal cover letters, please.
