The Director of Music Publishing is responsible to oversee and implement growth of Musics song catalog and publishing revenues by developing and maintaining a vibrant roster of exclusive songwriters, providing them with strategic creative opportunities and maximizing their overall career growth. This position will be responsible for establishing and maintaining strong networks and relationships within the Christian Music industry for songwriting opportunities and mutual partnerships. This position will also oversee and assist with the implementation of the song-level resources for the local church along with strategic song promotion and marketing of Integritys priority songs. Embody Integrity Musics mission and values.Job Description:Work to advance opportunity and revenue for signed company songwriters resulting in overall career advancement/growth.Create and direct strategic cowriting opportunities.Direct Song development.Actively pursue song exposure and usage.Cultivate and maintain industry relationships.Secure Sync opportunities and revenue.Responsible to ensure that all newly acquired songs (company I.P.) are cataloged within SongSpace.Direct song resources.Identify and acquire songwriter and artist/ministry partnerships.Perform other job-related duties as assigned.Position Requirements:Formal Education: Bachelors Degree in Music, Music Business, Music Education, or related field.Experience: 8-10 years of increasingly responsible experience in the music recording industry. Experience as a worship leader or considerable knowledge of the development and flow of music worship services preferred. Must be passionate about the Christian music industry and have extensive experience as a networking pro and relationship builder.Specialized Knowledge/Certification: Basic knowledge and experience with MS OfficeEquipment Knowledge: General office equipment, Mac computers.
