Our Media Group is in search of a VIDEO BROADCAST ENGINEER for our client, an American multinational investment bank and financial services company in Midtown NYC and Westchester, NY.This Video Broadcast Engineer will be responsible for providing broadcast studio facilities management, equipment maintenance, IT technical support, and broadcast video engineering in a dynamic production studio and post-production environment.RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:Managing studio facilities (not limited to) broadcast studios, audio switchboard, as well as wiring and cable routing. Act as a broadcast/video engineer during both live broadcasts and tapings in the studios.Set up, maintenance and shading broadcast cameras as needed.Implementing necessary updates and upgrades to existing equipment, monitoring server storage, maintaining workstations and network equipment, and installing and configuring new devices.Setup and operation of video switching systems, and digital playback systems, both onsite and remotely. Completing daily quality control testing and maintenance of high-end event production video equipmentSKILL REQUIREMENTS:Strong process orientation, with organizational and problem-solving skillsAnalytical skills to troubleshoot system problems in a complex video environmentEffective oral/written communication skills with the ability to explain technical information to non-technical usersTechnical discipline to introduce new technology project deployments on a moderate scale, including planning, documentation, and implementationMeet deadlines and commitments in an environment that requires multitasking among multiple concurrent projects while also handling interruptionsStay calm under pressure.Self-starter, able to work efficiently without direct supervisionProficient in Microsoft and Apple products and systemsEXPERIENCE REQUIRED:A minimum of 5 years of experience in engineering
