The Associate Editor ideates, assigns, writes, reports, edits, and manages content for a variety of daily and monthly initiatives, with an emphasis on supporting our trending content needs, marquee editorial programs, and news reporting. The Associate Editor is comfortable using analytics to help guide content creation, has excellent writing and editing skills, and has the experience to create digital content on rolling deadlines. They are skilled at crafting headlines, generating unique ideas, working collaboratively, and finding creative new ways to engage our audience via social reach and organic search. The ideal candidate has a passion for everything about the Allrecipes brand and its millions of community members.This role reports to a Senior Editor. The Associate Editor is responsible for planning, producing, and writing editorial program content, including marquees and franchises.
