Project Overview/Synopsis:After reaching the pinnacle of fame and success, it can be a real struggle to stay at the top. The crowning moments of your past begin to haunt you and eventually, the wave of glory you’re riding can pull you back under and drag you down to rock bottom. Unfortunately, this has been the case for some of the most famous chocolate characters of the past few generations. All together in an indistinguishable location, they tell their stories.The One-Hit-Wonder Gorilla shot to fame after the success of her advert, selling out stadiums, rubbing elbows with the biggest names in music and solidifying her place in the rock and roll hall of fame. Well... Or so she thought... People’s taste began to shift to a new, more futuristic style of music as they entered the digital age. As electronic music took over, it was death to rock and roll and the Gorilla’s career.Role Brief:The Gorilla has been out of work for some time now and sits around dreaming of the good-old days. She has tried to master a range of new talents but due to the size of her hands she has failed at everything. Painting, Cooking, DJing, she was hopeless at them all, and wonders what she will do with her life now.What We’re Looking For:We are looking for a female Scottish voice over artist that can make a believable gorilla voice, with a deep and warm vocal tone. The accent must be that of a washed up rock'n'roll star who's seen it all before.NB: All scenes have been shot, this is voiceover only and will be recorded in our West Dulwich studio.
