About me
During my time in School I performed in every one of our yearly Musicals, fascinated by the lights and sparkle this drew me right into the world of theater. I became obsessed with the cut of a costume or the technicality of a change of set. This set me on my course of studying at AUB on the Costume with Performance Design course which I will be graduated from this summer (2016). I have gained so much from this course honing my design skills in both the Costume and Set disciplines as well as introducing me to the world of Scenic Art. Having done several theoretical design projects for different venues and varying budgets such as The Sisterhood by Molier (black box theatre), Rigoletto by Verdi (fringe venue) and No Name by Wilkie Collins (black box theatre). As well as being taught sewing techniques and some costume consruction seen here in interpreting a french revolutionary peasant costume from a design to be worn in the music video for a band ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hsuSvHJ0bMo ) and altering costumes for several university productions. During the last year I gained many new skills as the Lead Scenic Artist on two of the shows at University The Women and The Rights of Man at the same time as being a key member of the Scenic team for a further three productions. I greatly enjoy working within the theatre as a part of a creative team and hope to carry on by finding new creative challenges and work to dive into.Referees:
