Woody Allen sexual assault claims to be discussed in Dylan Farrow TV interview

The 32-year-old – who was adopted by the Wonder Wheel director and actress Mia Farrow in 1985 – alleges that Allen molested her when she was seven.

Allen, 82, denied the accusation and was investigated in 1992 after Farrow claimed she was sexually assaulted by her adoptive father at their home in Connecticut.

The TV interview will air on CBS This Morning presented by Gayle King and sees Farrow claim: "I am credible and I am telling the truth.

"I think it's important that people realise that one victim, one accuser, matters, and that they are enough to change things."

Several actors have chosen to distance themselves from the director in recent weeks, including Golden Globe-nominated Call Me By Your Name actor Timothée Chalamet.

The 22-year-old announced: "I don't want to profit from my work on the film, and to that end, I am going to donate my entire salary to three charities: TIME'S UP, The LGBT Center in New York and RAINN."

However, actor Alec Baldwin – who worked with Allen on To Rome with Love and Blue Jasmine – says the director is being criticised unfairly.

He wrote on Twitter: "Woody Allen was investigated forensically by two states (NY and CT) and no charges were filed.

"The renunciation of him and his work, no doubt, has some purpose. But it's unfair and sad to me. I worked w WA 3 times and it was one of the privileges of my career.

"Is it possible to support survivors of paedophilia and sexual assault/abuse and also believe that WA is innocent?

I think so.

"The intention is not to dismiss or ignore such complaints. But accusing ppl of such crimes should be treated carefully. On behalf of the victims, as well."
